Our artist consultation is designed to support artists in various aspects of their careers. Artists can receive tailored advice based on their unique needs and goals. This can include feedback on their work, career strategies, and more. We also Assist our artists in developing a cohesive portfolio or series of works. Providing guidance on marketing strategies, social media presence, and networking.

1. Knowledge and understanding of the ins and outs of the music industry which includes:

- Business (Contracts - Good vs bad contracts, how to read certain restrictions/rules in contracts such as confidentiality agreement, clauses etc.) 

Potential deals - (Brands, how partnerships work)

- Music (Recording sessions - Maximizing time/learning your sound/knowing what plugins,effects that are suitable Songwriting, splits, credentials)

2. Exposure - (Finding the target market, knowing what kind of music they are):

Looking for from the artist and what I should do more of as well maintaining a loyal following, get a global reach) Monthly (Specifics when pitching song and maintaining an amount of listeners for big numbers) 

3. Royalties - (how percentages should be split, how the contracts should be drafted for potential collaborations)

Shopping or Pitching Policy

Though I do represent clients in the entertainment industry, I do not shop or pitch projects to record companies, television or film producers or book publishers. I become involved after a client has acquired an interest on his or her own. Though these companies tell you to get an entertainment lawyer to provide these services, very few attorneys provide these services. For recording artists, I suggest aligning yourself with a manager or producer that has contacts in the industry. For film, tv and book projects you would seek out an agent that provides these services.

Drafting

My experience of representing clients on both the company and artist side provide me with the experience to know the legal and industry issues that are important to include for both sides in a contract. Years of practicing litigation helps me understand which issues are important to address in a contract and the best ways to draft clear and concise terms to avoid any confusion on the rights and responsibilities of both parties. Based on my years of drafting contracts, I have an extensive library of basic contracts. After providing you with a basic agreement, I only charge for the time to consult and make changes to the contract.

Negotiation

Negotiation takes skill and experience to ultimately reach an agreement between two parties. Because of my experience of representing both companies and artists, I know the issues that are important to both parties b and can offer solutions to reach an agreement that otherwise would seem unattainable. I pride myself on "closing the deal" and believe that I am being hired to help two parties who already have decided to work together try to simply come to an agreement on the detailed terms of a written agreement.

An artist Management Agreement is used by a personal manager to contract with a recording and performing musical artist to set the terms for managing the artist's career, The manager receives a percentage of all the income generated by the artist for the management services provided.
